DQA have an extensive experience in in supervision of construction project, with a successful track record of overseeing numerous projects across KPK, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi.

The DQA site supervisory engineer(s) are dedicated to the continuous supervision of construction projects in Islamabad and Peshawar, ensuring strict adherence to designs and specifications from project inception to completion. Their key responsibilities encompass the following activities: • Location of building regarding landslide and seismic hazards. • Layout of building and orientation. • Plinth protection. • Sizes (width, breath and height) of beams and columns. • Alignment of beams and columns. • Leveling of ground and drainage works. • Materials (sand, crush and reinforcing bars). • Samples collection for laboratory tests.

INSPECTIONS OF IMC SCHOOL TRUSSES FOR RETROFIT VERIFICATION

IMC Worldwide requested DQA to provide consultancy services for the verification of retrofitting work performed in roof trusses of IMC schools. The DQA visited twenty-eight schools where truss retrofitting was recommended. The DQA team inspect the retrofitting work for verification of the following: • The retrofitting has been carried out following the DQA recommendations. • The gauge of steel members provided is as per the retrofit recommendations. • The weld length is as per the retrofit recommendations. • The quality of the weld is appropriate, through visual observation. • The overall quality of retrofitting work is satisfactory.
